Yes, I'm a top-poster.

As you know from our previous Skype conversations I'm the host of the
GNU/Linux User Show podcast and I'm the first to admit that I'm the biggest
nOOb there is. One thing I know about the CLUG is that this is the most
friendly, most passionate and most encouraging LUG on the planet.

My first experience with Shawn and the guys taught me that this LUG is THE
place to be. When I first walked into my premier CLUG installfest I went
because VMWare had screwed up my machine beyond my ability to fix it. I was
kind of apprehensive about walking in and asking for help right off the
street but Shawn walked right up to me when I wandered in and introduced
himself and asked if I needed help. I felt prettish sheepish asking for help
on what I considered a rather rudimentary problem especially since I was the
the guy who produced podcasts on helping new users but the reception and help
I received from guys like Shawn and Graham (and other unnamed people there)
was exceptional.

I don't want to speak out of turn, but I feel pretty confident about saying
that you should feel free about bringing any machine in any stateof
disprepair into this installfest and have absolute confidence that the people
there will help you in any way they can.

There are no Slashdotters here. The CLUG is a very positive LUG.

Hope to see you there!

Jon
