I also want to add that the two are compatible.
You can encrypt with gpg and decrypt with pgp and vise versa.

GPG is the OSS equivalent, and yes it's integrated in KDE 3.4. Look for kgpg.

Hello All,

I'm looking for recommendations on PGP type software for Linux. Primarily I
would like email encryption and digital signature functionality. I use
Ximian Evolution for email (but I don't use any of the PIM stuff so that's
a bit of overkill), but I understand that KMail has some built in crypto
support that I might find easier to use.

I'm running FC3 with KDE...what...3.4 I think?

Is anyone else using anything? Any recomendations out there?

Thanks!

Jon
