Hello everyone Is it possible to have a shared volume between multiple Linux machines?
Here is what I am trying to do. I have 5 Linux machines hooked up to a san. I have 500Gigs of disk that I want to share between all five machines. I want the 5 machines to be able to see and access the same data on that drive. I want be able to increase the size of the drive as needed (I have currently configured it as an lvm and it is compromised of 2 "virtual" drives of 250Gigs each). Is this possible without buying additional software?? I could go with a cluster, but I want to see if I can do it individualy (so I can run different versions of Linux). any input would be appreciated.
