A few more details might be a good thing Kev... DAG regularly posts Red Hat RPMs, and I had hoped that they'd be close enough. They aren't. Obviously things like services isn't there, but /etc/rc.d/init.d/* and stuff like that isn't either. Networking is different. I think it's safe to say that this script won't work if I just carry it across from RH to SLES.
I've also moved SLES to use Sendmail rather than Postfix. I need it that way. Kev.
