There must be something deeper than that though. At startup, everything is normal. It stays normal until I log out. When I log back in, that's when things go funny. But I don't lose the entire connection. I still have a connection to the Internet, but not the LAN.
I'll keep following what the log is reporting. I won't rule out hardware either. I'll try to get a different card and test that.
