Thanks Kari for posting this info. And thank you Jesse for nominating me (was there anyone you DIDN'T nominate for something <grins> ), and everyone who has voiced their support. An earlier email suggested I may yet decline the nomination. I allowed my name to stand at the meeting, and will continue to do so (unless I'm hit by a bus or something equally tragic/painful). I look forward to the um.. discussions, Niels and I are likely to have regarding vision/direction/etc - the competition is welcome. I feel the group will get the best it can this way, rather than accepting the "default" choice. As mentioned in an earlier email, I'll post my vision/platform in a few days for everyone to peruse and consider before the AGM. But I wanted to express my thanks, and intentions, while it was pertinent.
