ITRES Research Limited is an established, Calgary-based, high-tech firm that is a world leader in the development and operation of precision airborne hyperspectral imaging systems that are used in a variety of fields and sold world-wide.
We are looking for a *Mechanical Engineering Technologist* that has experience in 2D or 3D drawing software (e.g. AutoCAD or solidworks) and part design. Capable of precision assembly and calibrations using interferometers, mass spectrometers, optical bench and clean room techniques. Familiar with standard shop equipment. Applicants will be able to self-organize, document work clearly and follow assembly, calibration and quality control procedures. The position may involve occasional international field work, possession of a Canadian passport and eligibility for security clearance.
