Wait -- was he the elderly gentleman that, when he finally lost out, everybody stopped playing and clapped? I was only half paying attention and the audio was quite low (public big screen TV), but I was impressed with his demeanor and the way he played _without_ him being a notable on the "Geek's Guide to History" list (if who I'm remembering was Mr. Sinclair)! It's like watching Linus on TV or something! Oh, wait, I can do that in an hour! Hurray, the geek's time has finally come! We're invading mainstream media! Look out world! Hmm, I guess I have to take back all those critical comments about poker players looking like their own brand of geeks to my poker-savvy younger brother. ;-) They won't teach you this stuff at SAIT, nope! (<= too obvious an attempt at staying on-topic? ;-) Curtis S. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
