Wait -- was he the elderly gentleman that, when he finally lost out, everybody 
stopped playing and clapped?

I was only half paying attention and the audio was quite low (public big 
screen TV), but I was impressed with his demeanor and the way he played 
_without_ him being a notable on the "Geek's Guide to History" list (if who 
I'm remembering was Mr. Sinclair)!

It's like watching Linus on TV or something!  Oh, wait, I can do that in an 
hour!  Hurray, the geek's time has finally come!  We're invading mainstream 
media!  Look out world!

Hmm, I guess I have to take back all those critical comments about poker 
players looking like their own brand of geeks to my poker-savvy younger 
brother.  ;-)

They won't teach you this stuff at SAIT, nope!  (<= too obvious an attempt at 
staying on-topic? ;-)
