WOW, talk about fast response time! <grins> I'm not a distro expert, so don't really know what directories are needed or not. I would suspect though that anything prior to version 8.2 probably wouldn't be needed.
At one point I had downloaded the entire FTP site (for a single version) to a local computer, and then did a local network install. The files took about 4 or 5 GBs of space.
