WOW, talk about fast response time! <grins>

I'm not a distro expert, so don't really know what directories are needed or not. I
would suspect though that anything prior to version 8.2 probably wouldn't be needed.

At one point I had downloaded the entire FTP site (for a single version) to a local
computer, and then did a local network install. The files took about 4 or 5 GBs of
space. Maybe that helps in resource planning?

Thanks a bunch Erik!

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

If it is less than 59G, I've got room for it - I might also exclude some
architectures/old releases if need be. It's syncing off of a primary
mirror right now (1.5MB/s, not bad), and when it's done I'll put a
notice up on mirror's homepage.

I've never really used suse before - any chance that you could let me
know what's junk that need not be mirrored? (ie, what's the 'axp'
directory?)

Unofficially, it's here: http://mirror.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/mirror/suse/

Best,
Erik.
