I installed into my home directory /home/jesse/RealPlayer I say install as root, because I got errors when I tried to install as my user. It installs links to the realplay binary in /usr/bin and installs a Mozilla plugin in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and a few other things IIRC. You could also install it into /opt/RealPlayer either one will do.
