Thanks for the tip that KWrite allows one to turn on or turn off line wrap. I am going to look for the line wrap option in KWrite and turn it on after I send this reply. I will let you know how I fared. I did not know that KEdit and KWrite offered line wrap. When I tried KEdit and KWrite the line wrap was turned off or did not work as set up.
I will tell you which version of KDE I am using after I turn on line wrap in KWrite. Thanks for your help.
