I couldn't have said it better. Thanks Shawn. Yes, VFXweb is a sponser and I think we manage to help them sell a few things when we hold InstallFests at their shop just like I think we helped Nexus sell a few books when we were there.
Having an InstallFest at a Sponsor's location is a very good thing. Keith has been trying to get us to hold one at Computer Surplus for some time, I think that will be the next place we hold one. They have two locations so maybe we could hold one at each. These are some ideas. It's even possible that we could go back to Nexus for an InstallFest at some point in the future. Having the Programming SIG meet there is a good thing as it retains our ties to them. There's lots of possibilities. I wouldn't even rule out that Community Centre someone mentioned if the requirements fit our needs. InstallFests are a fun-social event that we try and hold regularly. Let's not forget that. This is already turning into quite the debate.
