A guy I know in Calgary needs two modems. A friend gave him some Linux CD's and now he is hooked. He needs a modem for his Linux system at work and one for at home. Both have WinModems now. It is OK if one is slower as his system at work has ADSL and he only needs a modem there for faxing but he would like a 56k for at home if possible.
Any one have a supply out there?

Check out http://www.vfxweb.com, they've got very reasonably priced modems at $9.99 for a 56k ISA/hardware version (as in non-winmodem), and they're a CLUG sponsor.
