Rohit,

Before we move on, you should send the list of people that you believe are
deserving of committership to the PPMC.

One of the problems with committer nomination is that people generally
nominates people they've been working with. However, if the nominations only
come from the PPMC, given the small size of current PPMC (likelihood of mentors
nominating is low) and the current workload, nominations will continue to be
slow to come by.

I will say that nominator must take responsibility for the nomination. It
means the nominator needs to have checked out their work before and the
nomination must include their merits. The discussion will happen within PPMC
and feedback will come back to you. You should be prepared to discuss that
feedback (both positive and negative) with the nominee and help move forward in
a positive manner.

For example, I generally look up their wiki, review board, and mailing list
contributions before discussing a nomination.
