The current systemvm building script is out dated, old, difficult to work with and not maintainable: patches/systemvm/debian/buildsystemvm.sh
There are old threads where people have expressed need of building their own systemvm templates. I'll starting putting some basic work on it next week, I can commit some wip code (based on the appliance builders for DevCloud based on viewee/vagrant/vbox). I want to discuss if we can cherry pick the work for 4.1 after code freeze or if this probably not possible, we can still develop it in master and distribute the systemvm templates generated from it for 4.1?
