BigSwitch controller supports multiple isolations and VLAN is one of them. As the plugin evolves, more isolation methods will be added. Hence, I would like to add a placeholder. Sorry for the name confusion in API. They are not quantum API, but rather BigSwitch Orchestration API. It was used to support quantum first, but is to be used to support other orchestration framework.
