Wido den Hollander commented on CLOUDSTACK-765:
-----------------------------------------------

Yes, you are right. I just updated the subject.

For other reading this. Noa and I are going to work on the Debian and Ubuntu
packaging for 4.1

We won't use WAF any longer and fully depend on Maven for everything.

> Currently the DEB packaging for Debian and Ubuntu is broken.
> I already started work on this in the "packaging" branch, but this has to be
> completed for the release of 4.1
> The packaging structure will change a bit, so it's important that testing for
> upgrades is done to see if it all still works.
> Hugo Trippaers already started work on the RPM packaging and the DEB
> packaging can use large pieces of that, like the management server packaging.
> The goal is that the packages work on Ubuntu 12.04 at least, but newer Ubuntu
> versions like 13.04 are preferrable just like Debian 7.
