I branched yesterday off Master on the GitHub mirror. The mirror was about 12 hours behind, but the changes I missed were relatively minor.

New features should go into master, the 4.0 branch is just for maintaining 4.0. Master should be pretty stable, but now and then it's a moving target since we are still sorting out the build process.
