+1 to holding off on bringing into 4.0. This might bring us back to the question of release frequency, which we previously agreed would be on a set schedule. Once we get through the logistics of getting a first valid Apache release out the door, perhaps we can consider an as-needed release cycle for new / interesting major features? -chip
