I have received an offer of help from a UX testing expert who has experience testing documentation. Typically, we'd proceed by creating a list of tasks for users to attempt. We can ask the users to follow the documentation for each task, thereby verifying whether the steps in the docs are correct. In the bigger picture, we'd also find out whether the tasks themselves are do-able, which might lead to code enhancements. The first question to ask if we are to take up this expert's offer of help is: What is worth testing? Software installation is an obvious candidate -- but what about other tasks? Provisioning? Adding user services like guest networks and offerings?
I'd start with setting up CloudStack at first, but you already mentioned that.
Then start with setting up zones and verifying everything is configured correctly.
Afterwards you should the docs about launching your first instance. Wido
