Three main reasons: * we currently pay for Linode, and Rackspace is donating the server to us * the majority of Clojars outages over the last year have been due to DDoS attacks on Linode * the existing server is a collection of configurations that were edited in place over the years, so would be very difficult to recreate in the event of a catastrophic failure.
