This sounds like an awesome shortcut to speeding things up on android/ios while we're waiting for CinC and friends. Do you know how much work it would be to port your changes to clojure-android and try it out there? I'd be very interested to test it out and do some debugging on android. Is it just a tweaked Var class or is there more to it?
