Zach, I noticed that highlighting is broken on some Clojure files (the paredit widget ones, for example) and saw that the latest version (2.5.0) of RSyntaxTextArea might have addressed this according to the release notes. The project's github page already had an issue<https://github.com/bobbylight/RSyntaxTextArea/issues/20>requesting Maven repo updating and I added my two cents there. Maybe if you add your own voice it'll speed things up.
