What do you expect the results of these to be?
(merge-with + [1 2])
(merge-with + [1 2 3] [])
(merge-with + [] [1 2 3])
(merge-with + [1 2 3] [4 5 6 7])
(merge-with + {6 7, 8 9} [1 2 3])
(merge-with + [1 2 3] {})
