Maybe I'll try to write something in, if I can swing it. Basically, with assert, you can incorporate database modifications as part of a query.
Here is an example: 1 ?- assert(person(dNolen)). true. 2 ?- person(X), assert(coolguy(X)). X = dNolen. 3 ?- coolguy(X). X = dNolen.
