FWIW, I've just built jdk8-b78 on my linux machine (due to the oracle build being unavailable) and everything seemed to work:
% JAVA_CMD=~/checkout/openjdk8/build/linux-x86_64-normal-server-release/images/j2re-image/bin/java lein version Leiningen 2.0.0 on Java 1.8.0-internal OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM % JAVA_CMD=~/checkout/openjdk8/build/linux-x86_64-normal- server-release/images/j2re-image/bin/java lein repl REPL-y 0.1.9 Clojure 1.4.0 user=> (System/getProperty "java.version") "1.8.0-internal" The error you get looks similar to the kind of errors you can get with AOT compilation, but lein repl shouldn't use an AOT compiled nrepl .. hm .. no idea TBH. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clojure" group.
