If you like Midje you should probably stick with it. The two libraries were designed with very different goals in mind. Midje is much more polished and targeted adoption early on. expectations was created for testing the application I was working on, made available on github, but never really promoted. If it suits your testing style, you should love it. If not, you'll likely hate it - it's very opinionated.
Check out the github page and look at the success examples that are linked. That will cost you less than 5 minutes, and should give you all the information you need to decide which you prefer.
