I think this works:
(defmacro memofn [name args body]
`(let [cache# (atom {})]
(fn ~name ~args
(if-let [e# (find @cache# ~args)]
(val e#)
(let [ret# ~body]
(swap! cache# assoc ~args ret#)
ret#)))))
