It is used by the Storm project which is enough of a thumbs up for me. (I've forked it also @ https://github.com/bjconlan/zilch - but I only point this to you because if you are using osx I've improved on the readme for getting a more recent version of jzmq installed via brew, i've also updated the project.clj to use clojure 1.3.0). Maybe this is a better choice?
