that's precisely what I meant.  IIRC I am using Emacs since 1995/96 or 
something like that.  I just can't get accustomed to things like Eclipse and 
Netbeans, although I try from time to time.

Aye, several elisp libs plus a few thousand lines of customization code seem 
to be quite common after a few years of Emacs.
