However, it would be awesome if there was a terminal that offered this kind of glow effect. The closest I've seen is Cathode on OS X (http://www.secretgeometry.com/apps/cathode/) but that's a bit too heavy on the visual effects, and it doesn't run fancy terminal apps like emacs particularly well.
