You can try using StringTemplate http://www.stringtemplate.org/ which
is more _functional_ in usage style than Freemarker 
http://freemarker.sourceforge.net/
and Velocity http://velocity.apache.org/ -- let me know if you need
examples on using StringTemplate with Clojure.
