Hi:

I'm using Ubuntu and emacs 23 with elpa to manage clojure-mode, paren-
edit, slime, slime-repl and swank-clojure. ELPA doesn't like list
swank-clojure 1.2 yet. Can I upgrade manually?

It looks like ~/.swank-clojure contains the clojure and clojure
contrib jar files. But this directory is automatically populated from
the technomancy repo by swank-clojure.

Also ~/.emacs.d/elpa contains the folders for edit modes, slime and
swank-clojure-1.1.0.

I'm a little reluctant to go file copying and script hacking when elpa
is maintaining those folders. Thoughts?

Thanks.
