I get the same issue, which is odd, because the continuous integration
server works.

Regardless, would I be correct in guessing that you are more
interested in using Clojure-Contrib than patching it? If so, there are
easier ways to get started with Clojure and Clojure-Contrib.

Perhaps the best place to start is Stuart's LabREPL project:
http://github.com/relevance/labrepl

That contains comprehensive instructions for getting started on
various different IDEs and OSs, and also provides an interactive way
for you to learn and experiment with Clojure.
