The one potential downside I've seen to the function-oriented approach is that you often wind up encoding the argument type in the function name.
For example, if I write a library to manipulate SQL databases I might write a lot of functions that start with db- and resultset- and statement- etc. So you wind up writing a kind of type specifier in your code anyway. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Clojure" group.
