I think Phil is writing a guide about how he wants others to send him patches but I think I can still provide some hints. First, I think this belongs in swank-clojure.el its the only place where the context of a clojure repl comes up. Phil prefers pull requests so fork swank- clojure (I only know how to make pull requests using github unfortunately), make a new branch with the topic describing the fix, make the change, commit, then make a pull request by pressing the pull- request button on github.
