Hi folks, We're looking for someone savvy with Clojuresque ways of thinking, excited by phrases like "Monte Carlo simulation", "Bayesian inference", and "combinatorial optimization", willing to travel to New York for intense, engaging work, and (we hope!) motivated by an interest in education, cognition or just a satisfying problem. I come from the Scala side of the object/typing fence through the functional-Java countryside — but I come in peace.
We, a well-established but fast-growing educational technology company, have a very cool medium-term (three-to-six-month) project calling for an excellent developer. (Of course there's the possibility of staying on for more.) Please contact me if you find such things interesting and would like to tell or hear more. ~aaron Aaron Harnly Wireless Generation http://www.wirelessgeneration.com
