There's going to be a solar eclipse in a couple of weeks visible from
lots of places with great names: Varanasi, Darjeeling (has a j in it!)
and Surat, for example.

An alignment of three cosmic bodies is a syzygy.

Many eclipse cycles seem to have neat names:
