Not sure whether it is ironic or not when you write "will make things interesting" ? :-) The already existing syntax coloring of clojuredev (with rainbow parens enabled) does just that, reparsing the whole file everytime. And I've found it useful to see that what I really know is a top level form does not have the right color.
