It's the task that virtually no-one wants to do (with a few significant exceptions). I've bought every Scala book available, and I'll do the same for Clojure to encourage the market for books in niche markets. If I use Clojure commercially, I'll certainly pay for it. Apart from the fact that I believe one should do so, it has the practical benefit of encouraging those who would do such work, especially in the field of development tools.
