Hi,

I was never a professional programmer, only a hobbyist.
I started with Basic on a C64, went on with Pascal in
school, learned C. From then on it was exploration of
the World: Perl, Python, Scheme, Ruby, OCaml, a little
Haskell.

But I grew tired without a vision or a idea for a project.

And then suddenly... CLABANGO - eh - CLOJURE!

Almost on the day a year ago I found Clojure. I almost
missed it because of the JVM. Java, yadda yadda ...
I thought. How wrong I was!

Today I'm the maintainer of a state-of-the-art Clojure
environment and it is simply exciting to the see the
language and the community evolve!

Thank you, Rich! And all the best for Clojure's future!

Sincerely
Meikel
