*Prepare to submit a proposal for a Clojure Data Conference*

On both March 9th and March 10th at 12PM EST, we will be holding the
preparatory meetings for the upcoming "SciNoj Light" conference! We are
attempting to offer several of these meetings at different times in order
to accommodate all time zones as best as we can. Both meetings will be ~90
minutes long with an hour for presenting. They will be at the following
times:

*Sunday March 9th: 6PM ESTMonday March 10th: 9AM EST*

If you would like to practice your presentation please feel free to reach
out to the sci cloj contact link shared below so that we know who plans on
sharing.

*About SciNoj Light: *
In recent months, the Clojure toolkit for data and science has been
maturing. Thus, in 2025, Scicloj can finally shift more resources into
making it accessible and well-known. SciNoj Light is one of the first steps
in that direction. It is an online conference where Clojurians will share
their short-term data analysis. The conference will be on May 16-17, and
proposals should be submitted by March 15th. More information here:
https://scicloj.github.io/docs/community/groups/scinoj-light/";

This session is aimed at giving presenters an opportunity to organize,
prepare, or refine their presentations and practice presenting in front of
a supportive group. Participants will have the opportunity to form groups,
share ideas, and get feedback.

If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out here at the
sci cloj contact link: https://scicloj.github.io/docs/community/contact/

These meetings will be in the place of the real-world-data group
<https://scicloj.github.io/docs/community/groups/real-world-data/>.

This study group is a bit different from the other ones. Participants are
assumed to be actively working on a problem and willing to share it. See
the meeting 1 post <https://clojureverse.org/t/real-world-data-meeting-1/>
for background.

Updates about the agenda will be shared in the group chat.
If you wish to join the group, please reach out beforehand.
