At the Scicloj group, we find it important to support Clojurians who wish to make their first steps in open-source.
This is what we do at the open-source mentoring program. https://scicloj.github.io/docs/community/groups/open-source-mentoring/ Since mid August, about 70 people have applied to the program. We have met all of these new friends, and about half of them could keep going for a while. About a quarter have already made meaningful contributions. The program is still open and active. Scicloj needs your help in various projects of diverse kinds. If you know Clojure and hope to get involved in open source, you are encouraged to reach out.
