Btw. I was facing issues with `lein repl` after switching to clojure 1.10:
```
lein repl
...
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
at clojure.main.<clinit>(main.java:20)
Compilation failed: Subprocess failed
```
Cleaning .lein* files in the project directory fixed it:
```
rm .lein-env .lein-failures .lein-repl-history
```
