A friend, Mike Easter, told me about a podcast on transactional memory that he really found valuable. After listening to it, I agree and felt I should pass it on.

I doubt that name will change at this point though. When I first saw "dosync" I thought of a synchronized block in Java. Of course it's not like that at all. -- R.
