but i am in this situation, i wrote application in Scheme (Kawa,Bigloo) ,LisP that ran on an apache tomcat server, the application is deplyed in war files , they are precompiled ,with Kawa or Bigloo Scheme, and also use regular Java class compiled with Java8. They never ran in REPL ,all the test and debug must be done on the host that run tomcat web server in Java 8, here is the site : https://sidonie.oca.eu/
