It did for me. It's that Clojure forced me to learn about and practice new ways to model problems and solution. For example, I'm much better at recursion and dynamic programming now. Now algorithmic problems are always hard, so there's a limit to how much better I got because of Clojure, but for solving business problem it helped a lot more in that it allows me to quickly experiment and iterate on my experiments at an unprecedented speed.
