I'm not going to argue about whether or not an email address that you make
part of a public subversion repository is personal information that should
be protected. What you seem to want appears to have little to do with making
the email address private. That would involve not showing it to anyone and
I'm pretty sure neither Google nor Yahoo keeps your email address private.
It simply displays it in a form that is harder to harvest (ie. requiring a
Captcha before showing you the address).

Like I said earlier, if you want this fixed I highly recommend you start by
contacting the respective websites (github and bitbucket) instead of asking
the people hosting the mirrors to change it. They're not in charge of the
web interface and I really doubt anyone is going to in and retroactively
change usernames in the entire repo (and completely break everything for
anyone that has clones from those repos).
