While I would very much like to see VMKit become the JVM/CLR of choice in the 
open source world, it is nowhere near there yet. VMKit is just a student 
project that has not been used by any third parties (AFAIK) and has had only 
one release (which does not compile for me so I have not been able to test 
it).
