Ok, that makes sense.  I'll do it.  What about the other options 
available in erb though?  Do we use this:

<?clj (doseq [doc documents] -?>
   * <?clj= doc ?>
<?clj ) -?>

Will '<clj=' and '-?>' pass for valid xml?
